Can someone please explain what happened to Darin Hinshaw?

I would like to give Darin Hinshaw the benefit of the doubt, however I cannot do that. For the entire season, the Knights played undisciplined football. Didn't UCF average 9 penalties each game? Poor coaching by the entire staff .

He was demoted to quarterback coach. Given a 300 lb fullback to work with no arm. I’m no so sure he was given any input as Gus ran the O n picked the qb Hard to tell anything of his input I know Rizk thanked him in an interview whatever that means.

Was he ? His past doesn’t show a great deal as an offensive coordinator, but I don’t think he was given any authority under Gus. Gus was forced to hire an offensive coordinator, and hired Hinshaw, who he ultimately downgraded mid season I don’t know if he’s any good or not, but I don’t think he was given a chance here

The new HC will pick his guys and he’s probably going to clean house…for sure the new head coach will bring an OC and typically the OC also coaches the quarterbacks.
