In the US, they've almost equalized, especially at younger ages.
The phone was the 'great equalizer.' Talking and texting definitely made woman as dangerous as men, when it comes to damage with cars.
And in sheer inertia terms, cars are much better than guns. I constantly have to point this out when people complain about cops shooting (and killing) someone trying to run them over.
