Actually, I think Colorado may be the first team to truly dominate the new look conference next year. Their recruiting is really off-the-charts.
I defended Deion last year when they kept losing, saying he still got 4 wins ... and Colorado had been a dumpster before that. I.e., it was still a great accomplishment in 2023. And now he's proved everyone even more wrong this year!
Kids wanna play for a coach like that. The swagger with the talent and so much more ... Deion has really made this conference, and with more eyeballs, and ... you wait ... this conference is really going places.
I do want to warn people, you're going to have to get used to us having to fight to win a lot of games, cardiac kids regularly like 2013 was. This is a very, very high SoS conference, the ACC doesn't even come close to touching us, and we don't have creampuffs like the Big 10 either.
It's going to be a Bo Pelini type 9-10 wins is great every year type of a conference-program. This is not the AAC with 4 competitive teams, 2-3 ranked and 1 that dominates and could even go undefeated. Those days are over.
