CFP and Transfer Portal

CFP should be 16 teams not 12 which would stop whining from Alabama, Ole Miss, etc.

Transfer Portal should be open after playoffs into February. Would give us H.S. recruiting in December
and transfers in Jan. - Feb. More excitement for fans/sport as it would be helpful for Bowls, Playoffs\and coaches
trying to manage their rosters. Those on the rosters are just pumping iron during this time.

How can we pressure those making decisions to move in this direction?

no, CFP should have legitimate published way of selecting teams.

Totally agree. Remove the subjective factor and come up with the formula like bball for at large bids and conference champs seeding.

Making it 16 jyst means Vandy will complain. That won’t matter even if you make it 48 teams. Just different teams complain.
Kids have to be enrolled at new schools by 1/15 can’t transfer mid semester. There are reasons it is when it is. People in control aren’t just making things up as they go.

Correct, the complaints people have is because of the student part of the student athlete arrangement. All of this will eventually lead to removing the student part of the equation. Just unfortunately there is probably less than 40 schools that will be able to financially handle it.

He will have to compete again. Hinshaw also brought in M. Singleton from Arkansas.
