In a low scoring game in Hartford, Cinci, down by 2 pts in the closing seconds, their F Gary Clark (seems like Cinci always has had a "Clark" on their team forever), got an old fashion 3 pt play with 12 seconds left to lead by 1 pt but then UCONN got 3 shots off in the closing seconds (2 close to the hoop in the lane) then a final last second 3 pt shot that hit off the front rim,, as Cinci won 58-57.

In this slow tempo game, UCONN was hot from the outside in 1st half (shot a blazing 62.5% from downtown) but got cold in a low scoring 2nd half by shooting just 12.5% from 3.

UCONN blew their 4 pt lead with 1 min to go in the game.

With that win, Cinci bumps up into 2nd place and 1st seed (temporarily) for AAC Tournament.

SMU 7-1 (Not eligible for post-season play)
Cinci 6-3
Tulsa 5-3
Temple 5-3
UCONN 4-3
Memphis 4-3
UCF 4-3
Houston 4-4
ECU 2-6
USF 2-7
Tulane 1-8

UCF hosts UCONN this Sunday at 4 pm. (UCF didn't get a chance to host a game vs UCONN last year).
