This is the best we can do. I’m glad the administration sees the value she’ll bring now and into the future with the big 12.
UCF is that spring break fling …it gets old after a while . everyone is naive if they don’t think even Gus would ditch us to go back to the SECUCF, You Cant Finish Coaching here. We are the training ground for Coaches at the SEC, Big-10, etc or other.
Yes. Probably not a lot.Damn, that’s unfortunate. Is there a buyout?
Hopefully we got a lot of that SEC money in return.Yes. Probably not a lot.
She was only getting paid $575,000 per year. Buyout won’t be much.Hopefully we got a lot of that SEC money in return.
i hope he doesn't think like that. it's a surefire way to have mediocrity. like scott frost before her, coach abe leaves this program in a much better position than she found it and there will be no shortage of top candidates who want in. if sales is so successful with us in 2 years that Uconn hires her, we'll be sitting pretty.Possibly could be a reason not to hire Sales which a lot of people want. She may have said she’d leave for UCONN if Geno leaves. He doesn’t want to have to hire again in 2 years to replace the next coach.
I seriously doubt Gus would have an interest in coaching in the SEC at his age. He's well respected, has a great gig... lives in Winter Park...and calls his own shots.UCF is that spring break fling …it gets old after a while . everyone is naive if they don’t think even Gus would ditch us to go back to the SEC
How have we done since he and his recruits left? Good until Milton got hurt. Terrible since. That’s not what I want. Tennessee took Heupel. He didn’t win NY6 bowls. It’s taken at least 4 years and jury is still out on Gus.i hope he doesn't think like that. it's a surefire way to have mediocrity. like scott frost before her, coach abe leaves this program in a much better position than she found it and there will be no shortage of top candidates who want in. if sales is so successful with us in 2 years that Uconn hires her, we'll be sitting pretty.
Money and being part of the SEC still holds a lot of weight. Many will point to GOL staying, but there is a few key differences. GOL had a tarnished reputation following ND, never had consistent success, and most importantly did not have a personality nor type of football style that would attract major programs/boosters.I seriously doubt Gus would have an interest in coaching in the SEC at his age. He's well respected, has a great gig... lives in Winter Park...and calls his own shots.
we still had enough of a glow to be attractive to the big 12.How have we done since he and his recruits left? Good until Milton got hurt. Terrible since. That’s not what I want. Tennessee took Heupel. He didn’t win NY6 bowls. It’s taken at least 4 years and jury is still out on Gus.

Thank Goodness. Know it all Bryan Gelfand says she’s the best we can get.
Well Sales won’t be hired.
Geez this is getting old....Frost....Abe...and now possibly a future Sales. Do we have any former UCF players that played in the WNBA, had some success in coaching, and now wants to take a stab at coaching college? 😅

No we have absolutely no one.Geez this is getting old....Frost....Abe...and now possibly a future Sales. Do we have any former UCF players that played in the WNBA, had some success in coaching, and now wants to take a stab at coaching college? 😅
Does she though? She’s taking her staff with her and a few of our players are transferring. How much of what she did is actually going to endure her departure?i hope he doesn't think like that. it's a surefire way to have mediocrity. like scott frost before her, coach abe leaves this program in a much better position than she found it and there will be no shortage of top candidates who want in. if sales is so successful with us in 2 years that Uconn hires her, we'll be sitting pretty.
