Coaching staff speculations?

D’Onofrio hired as LB coach…this dude was the absolute worst coach ever at Miami. He’s just a LB coach at UCF so is a different situation but man, impossible to have a worse DC than him.

He is best friends with Al Golden and D’Onofrio got Golden fired because Golden refused to fire him. Literally what happened.

Yeah Miami fans seem to hate him, but Stanford fans seem to have a positive view of him. I guess he’s a position coach now which is fine, just keep him away from the D coordinator position. Seems odd that Frost would have a connection to him, or Grinch for that matter. Maybe brought in for Miami recruiting connections?

Coached all over the country. Well respected in the northeast good recruiter too.

What happed to the talk about UCF hiring Zach Duval strength and conditioning coach, Mike Dawson as a defensive assistant coach and Brandon Harris as a defensive backs coach? I didn't see them listed on coaches roster at UCF.com.

I was assuming the delays in announcing were contract related. Maybe waiting for existing contracts to expire or working out final details. Dawson I think was announced but the OL coach was leaked a while ago and even OL recruits mentioning him but still not on the athletics website.

Kaedin Robinson, Apps best WR by far now in the portal.....he has developed really well since he left us before. Maybe he will follow Clark.

I didn't/don't remember him playing for UCF, but that was before I followed y'all closely. Excellent talent evaluation by Gus.

FSU football has entered the race for transfer wide receiver Kaedin Robinson.

He (Robinson) transferred to Appalachian State from UCF after playing for the Knights for the 2021 season. Robinson signed with UCF out of ASA Brooklyn Junior College after the 2020 season.

You don’t know anything. D’Onofrio had the CB’s playing ten yards off the LOS…not one game but every game the entire game. 3rd and goal, fourth and goal and the Miami defense would be five yards deep in the end zone.

The man plays prevent defense every game…the whole game. D’Onofrio is the reason Al Golden was fired at Miami. D’Onofrio is the worst DC I have ever seen…anywhere.

Btw do know him. He was never gonna be able to articulate to the KMart Canes fans (who’s only affiliation with the university of Miami is the shirt they bought on the sales rack at Kmart, but show up at the stadium as if they are legit alums) n who couldn’t spell Cat after being spotted the C and A. I know DOnofrio n Golden I thought there time at Temple was exaggerated (they played in the MAC w Big East money) and UM wasn’t gonna be successful with winning with them there. They were brought in to clean that messed culture at the time.
