I'm not having a hard time with it at all. Plenty of Republicans having been calling for the J6ers to be pardoned, and Trump has already said he would pardon them. Why does cnn matter at all with this when I am referring to Republicans?

I don't give a shit about Biden pardoning his kid. I would have done the same for my son. The thing that raised eyebrows was the extension of the pardon back to Jan 1 2014 with a blanket immunity granted for crimes that Hunter MAY have committed.

Why else would Joe Biden issue an 11 year pardon, 3 years of which overlap with him at VP, if there wasn't a wider involvement of criminality across the Biden family?

It's not mental gymnastics at all. Remember the Benghazi hearings with Hillary, that they had 10 separate investigations and came up with nothing? And after the fact several Republicans admitted it was to hurt her upcoming presidential campaign? Remember that? Well, they had a hearing with regards to Joe and Hunter and came up with nothing, so why give them a chance to just keep doing it over and over for political purposes?
