Take it with a grain of salt but from their board.

----

While I can't confirm anything yet, I believe and I've heard a lot of chatter that Frost has offered Lubick and Chinander positions with him at UCF.

Frost has offered both a shot to be his coordinators on offense and defense.

Make no mistake about it, these would be two HUGE losses for Oregon. Not only in coaching ability but especially in recruiting. I'm not sure folks give Chinander enough credit on the recruiting trail. He's one of the only guys on staff that recruits beyond his position and is tireless on the recruiting trail.

I don't believe either coach has accepted a position, but the ball appears to be in Oregon's court if they hope to retain either of these young studs.

Additionally, I believe Frost will or has target (ed) Oregon GA Joe Bernardi, someone Oregon would hate to lose. He's going to need to be offered a full-time position of some kind if Oregon wants to keep him around. Bernardi is also a rising star and has been a key on the recruiting trail for Oregon.

Along with Bernardi, Frost will make a play for Nate Costa as well. He knows the offense, his tendencies and what he's looking for in a quarterback. This wouldn't hurt as bad as losing Lubick or Chinander, but would still take away from Oregon's best-case scenario.

To think at least one or two assistants of some sort won't follow Frost to UCF is definitely being naive.
