Does anyone think that our concession lines are too slow or too unorganized?? Compared to other stadiums that I've been to on the road. Running out of ice, 10-15 minutes waiting when there are only a handful of people in front of you.
I've never missed so much game time as i do at our home games. Outside game experience is great.
Inside, between the food choices and the lines, maybe not so great.

You were probably in the line for beer. [banana]
If it was in the stadium, I would have waited forever, since it doesn't exist.

Guess I was spoiled and I'm missing the Cabana. Close seats vs no lines.

Maybe we should update their uniforms.

I bet that would help.
^^^This guy gets it^^^

We should have the people working concession wear the same uniform as the players. You're a genius, dude. Send an email to Frost about this. Tell him I said hi.

Just my 2 cents. But at every other stadium I have been to, there have been concession stands on the second level. I do all my beer drinking before the game. I get my food at the alumni center. ( Bubba Lou's BBQ) And only get water at the stadium concession.

Took 25 mins to get a pizza in the middle of the 2nd half. Of course they didn't bother to slice it into pieces. I think i'd rather starve than deal with that again.

This was the first month that Danny got to see this directly. I'm sure all the employee holdovers were spinning yarns of how perfectly everything worked. Now he'll know not to believe them again. Watch it get fixed before the end of the season.

The problem I saw was that two people wait on each person (one cashing out and one getting the food) and the food runner is not allowed to move on to the next person in line until the person in front is done paying. This was my experience. The person in front of me was counting change to pay for their food. I was just getting a free refill, but the food runner was just standing there and said she was not allowed to help me until the person in front of me finished paying. Two trips to the concession equaled 40 minutes of wait time.

I'm glad that other people are sharing their experiences. I feel that the in stadium concessions at any sporting event is an important part of the fan experience. Geez, you're there for over 3 hours and you often want to eat and drink. I really think that we are lacking in this department.

I thought that Michigan really had their act together for 109,000 fans, more than we did for 43,000.

Well.. It looks like the gameday experience is really changing around UCF and it's important for all to have a great experience.

Response from the general manager of Centerplate:

I received some of your concerns from the last game at Bright House Networks Stadium. I wanted to reach out to let you know that your feedback is greatly appreciated as we continue to try and improve your experience at each Knights' home game.

I'd also like to apologize to you. I was the manager you spoke with that evening and in no way meant to blow you off and I'm truly sorry if you felt I did so. After you'd voiced your concerns with the troubles in that concession stand I wanted to get into the stand to assist them in righting the ship. I will be mailing you a voucher for a free soda, hot dog or pretzel (your choice) to be used at any location those items are sold. It will be good for the rest of the season. I know that this does not correct the experience you had but know that we will constantly be working at improving all of these concerns and strive to bring you great service each time you visit our food locations.

We will be increasing some of our staffing in the stands in our busier areas to help expedite the lines as quickly as possible and keep them neat and clean throughout our busiest times as well as adding a few more beverage only locations in those areas to bring some of the beverage only customers out of the food lines. We hope that these measures will speed up your service and give you more time to enjoy the game you've come to see. Once you brought the ice situation to my attention we corrected that immediately and have taken additional steps to be sure it won't happen again.

Thanks again for your feedback and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. Go Knights and Charge on!

Tip...now that the Cabana Club has been built (multiple 2nd level sections have their own bathrooms, bars, concessions with free food, etc...), the shortest concession lines to the stadium are on the ground floor East Side (even when stadium is almost full)...as they now have some of the lowest number of possible customers (i.e. on a full game crowd somewhat close to the Maryland Game...most just lower level fans).

Now for Tulane...North End Zone concessions would probably have the shortest lines as that area will have the most empty seats in the stadium.
