Congress still has to certify the Election Results and declare Biden winner. Will Republicans actually do it come January?

By the PA legislature. Not by judges. Not by the Governor or SoS.
Originally, yes. Then the governor and judge expanded it even further. I agree that it shouldn't overturn the election because people went into it being told that what they were doing is OK.

But you just said "If not, then the state has broken the rules and their constitution provides a remedy."

So do you want the remedy or not?

I think that you largely stay out of the substance and rather poke fun at those of us that seem to enjoy tilting at windmills.

And, I think we’re pretty much in the same place. I think Trump is a jackass and wish he wasn’t the seemingly only one on the right that will use the time-honored Democrat tactics against them. None of the rest of the Republicans have a spine and the libertarians that I would rather vote for can’t seem to find a way to join the party. Unfortunately, Trump was the one to go against the status quo and so there you have it. Hopefully this new diverse group of people that the Trump wave brought to the party will fight the right fight.

The GOP is on its deathbed. There's only one Donald Trump and he was able to be a shock system to the electorate. Once he's done, the GOP, at least in Presidential politics is over. Hopefully the Democrats: 1. Win both seats in GA. 2. Abolish the filibuster. 3. Admit DC and PR. 4. Expand the Court.

It's a lot, but if those things happen, RIP GOP. Here's hoping!

No. At the very most, their EC votes could maybe be disregarded by congress but its too late for PA to send Trump voters instead. That was be a disaster. Either way, it doesn't change the election but they probably need to address the issue ahead of the next election.

I left the Republican Party after Bush lied about all those "tons of WMDs" that Saddam had in order to justify an invasion of Iraq. But that was mere 'child's play' compared to being a Republican today in the Age of Trump.

How ANY good, decent Republican card-carrying adult can stomach Trump and his sycophants' post-election attack on our democracy is beyond me.

This may help to clarify what happened.

I believe the reason that Scotus later put an end to it was because the late arriving ballots didn't amount to enough to change the outcome of the election, not because the case had no merit.

The SCOTUS has also made it clear that they are not in the business of invalidating election results. If there are valid issues surrounding how a state election is being run, the time to address them is BEFORE the election, not afterwards.

Yeah but like with anything else, never say never. The hurdle in this election is just too high.

To show just how crazy things can get, check out this tweet by a D congressman. While an extreme request, I do think Pelosi could make a rational argument that anyone who signed on to that list AND came from a state under contest, is by extension, contesting their own victory.

So in a world where SCOTUS did lock up those states electoral votes, seemingly sending the election to the house, she'd have a pretty rational case not to seat that specific subset of representatives. I don't know the math, but if that subset was enough to ensure PA/MI/WI/GA delegations had D majorities, that would give her perfect cover to flip the house vote to Biden.

This is messy AF but is the kind of crap we should expect in the event Trump was (somehow) successful.

Love it. Not sure I'm ok with the treason claim, but this whole thing would be fun as hell to watch.

You're very low IQ.
This is not an exaggeration, @KNIGHTTIME^ has posted that same obviously out of context clip 28 times. You can search for the embed media "MA8a2g6tTp0" to see each time he posted it.

The first time he posted it was November 5th, only 36 days ago.

He's averaging 1 post of that clip every 31 hours for the past 5 weeks straight.

The man is an actual smooth brained moron telling the same joke video and also making the same post about masks and death rates for the better part of a year.

@KNIGHTTIME^ is obviously the lowest IQ lowest effort poster we have and it isn't close. The dude is a potato.
