Corona Virus starting to cause stock market and supply chain issues

Here's what the Bernie Bros and MFA folks won't admit - you can't have a government run single payer system that is single minded obsessed on "reducing costs" while still having the same privatized health care delivery industry that you had before. It is simply not possible.

MFA would, absolutely, choke private providers to the point over time that they'd simply quit and close up shop. There is no way MFA as a single payer can exist otherwise.

Hospitals are already closing all over the country and we don't have MFA.

"The American Hospital Association, an industry group, calculated that payments from Medicare and Medicaid, the federal programs for the elderly and poor, lagged costs by $76.6 billion in 2018. Hospitals are also losing key income as more profitable procedures move to lower-cost outpatient centers."

You really want to expand a system that doesn't pay enough to keep hospitals open?

Bingo.

And Medicare Advantage is one of the fastest growing private plans in the country since people are so unsatisfied with base Medicare coverage.

The payout to hospitals likely wouldn't be the same with MFA.

I think that goes both ways Shuckster. I have not seen anyone on the left do it either.
i do my fair share of trolling in here, but there are times ive been very honest as well. shookster is always the first to claim im full of it when im trying to be honest and looks the other way at facts. what is the point in trying to reach out to someone like that?

at least with fc i assume 90% of the time he is trolling. im pretty sure shookster is just being himself.

So they're going to pay more but bring costs down...........so why not just pay more now for the people they do cover?

I don't know, but I am sure increased funding would obviously help with that. M4A isn't just going to be a simple expansion of medicare, it will be an pretty major process.

Here’s a hint: look away for at least two months and relax. We’re already in correction territory. Selling at this point is dumb. So

The first 3 weeks of the two month look away plan are over. We still feeling good about this advice? About 5 weeks away from a full recovery right?
