When there were calls here for a nationwide stay-at-home order, we were told that the President legally couldn't do that, short of declaring martial law. When the crisis was deepening and people were looking to our POTUS for leadership, Trump was happy to hide behind the Governors and let each state do what ever the hell their governor wanted to do in a piecemeal fashion.

But NOW?

The same guy who was happy to allow the Governors to take the heat -- and take the blame -- feels out of the loop because these same Governors are now working collectively to develop a coordinated plan for reopening the economy.

So what's the new message? As POTUS, he told reporters at his presser yesterday, he has total, absolute authority. None of the Governors can do anything without his approval.

Soooooooooooo ... what's the new Red Hat take?

Another TDS filled post from a loser with no life who obsesses about Trump 24/7.

You live a pathetic life.

What are you going to do after Trump wins the election? Put a bullet through your head?

You are such an attention seeking sociopath that you needed to make a new thread about something that you already discussed in another thread. Truly pathetic

Time for your buddies @Knight_Classes_begin_7pm and @NinjaKnight to respond

Terrible yuman beings, they really should be ashamed. They disgust me.

Oh well. The TDS-Shookster jumped the gun again. The Governors will be allowed to do what’s best and the federal government will oversee it. The Shookster’s obsession over every Trump word strikes again.

Also at the briefing, the president said plans to ease the national economic shutdown were being finalized, and that he would be "authorizing governors to reopen their states to reopen as they see fit." At the same time, Trump made clear that he was not going to put "any pressure" on governors to reopen.

Total authority, but takes zero responsibly. He's a total joke to the entire world.

Imagine for one second had Hillary won, and done the exact same thing, closing down the economy, sending out socialism checks. The inbreds on this board would utterly lose their shit, fox news would be saying she is the Antichrist for daring to do this.

You can't support Trump today without being an inbred hypocrite, that is 100% a fact.

Right on que. Haven’t heard from his partner @Knight_Classes_begin_7pm Disney is furloughing 40,000 employees in 5 days. I guess he’s not as big of a close the economy fan these days as he once was. I’m sure his make believe UCF degree can get him a job waiting tables. Oh... wait

Oh look another shit thread started by an imbecile, cheerleaded by imbeciles
Huh? Just a drive-by insult?

Aren't you going to tell us how illegal it is for Trump to open the economy back up? This is for each individual Governor to decide, right?

Really, again (for the 1000th time), this shows how unfit this moron is for office.

Frump will even try to reverse what he said, by saying that other people did it. You simply cannot make this stuff up. He is a TOTAL LOSER!!!

I think you mean the Meltdown show
#winning
I realize that the vast majority of your contributions are troll posts like this one. Nevertheless, I will respond to it by saying that if Donald Trump can only muster a 48% approval rating during a national crisis, how in the hell do you think he wins?

You can disparage Biden with every name in the book but it doesn't change the fact that he's poised to win the rust belt away from Trump. Without States like Wisconsin and Michigan, how does he pull off an Electoral College win?

Since the start of this crisis, it's been apparent that Trump is in over-his-head and the vast majority of Americans know it.

I expect you to continue your childish, troll responses because there is no way in hell that you --- or your Red Hat buddies -- can provide a clear headed, rational explanation of how Trump's going to pull off this amazing reelection that will supposedly have people like me in "Meltdown" mode. This ain't 2016.

Trump will win for the same reasons as 2016. People who aren’t polled will come out in millions to vote and the rest would rather vote for nobody than Biden or Trump.

Additionally, most Republicans think that Trump is doing a fine job handling this and he is. It’s only TDS hate-filled left wing extremists like
yourself that find fault in ANYTHING that he does and continue to move the goalpost daily. No credibility
