Had to win this game on offense but he called a play behind the line of scrimmage. It’s unreal. There is no concept for that beside hope.

As long as Gus is our coach, we will not be a contender, or even a spoiler. I am so sick of the way he calls games. We lose so many games that we could have easily won with a mediocre coach. Gus was gifted this game by the defense and found a way to call the worst play on third down. Behind the line? Behind. The. Line. On third down. It’s crazy. Just crazy. I can’t understand it. It’s so gross to hope you get a broken tackle at that juncture. Spread the field 1 read and run maybe two reads and run. It’s just so unreal to make that call when they were obviously playing close to the LOS. Just unreal.
Malzahn running the hurry up in the last 4 minutes of the game left 1-2 minutes in the clock.

RJ Harvey has been a saint for the program. I wouldn’t blame him if he decided to sit out the rest of the season. He’s got more than enough tape out there for the draft
I can’t get over that third down call. It’s insane. Who does that with the game on the line? 7 in the box. Gus set them up for failure and that’s not what a coach should do. Live with a call that fails but to make a call to fail is on him.

Our defense balled out today against a very good team. They made stops, pressured the QB and gave us 14 pts.

What’s good with these 3rd and 4 / 5 and we go for a touchdown pass? This is infuriating. Pick up the 1st down. If we get one of those, we likely win the game. Death by a thousand cuts. We’re cutting ourselves in this case.
