I rarely see anyone praise Trump, what I see is a lot of defending him from the likes of the idiot left.
The location of the subs are classified, but let's not assume Trump means they are just sitting off the coast. These subs have a published range of 4000 nm. They could be almost in Hawaii and still be in the Korean peninsula operational range.

A couple of constructive criticisms for you: Try sprinkling in a more insults into your arguments, they will appear to make more sense. Try posting your 4 step discussion forecast a few times in every thread as it really bolsters your arguments. im a libertarian, and im not on trumps team. hes done some good and some bad. however, ive been trying to give him an opportunity to do his job without throwing him under the bus at every chance. that is something your "team" clearly has done. when cnn has 90+ % negative coverage of trump, that should tell you something. they arent being fair or objective. but go ahead and faux rage some more about trump and his 2 scoops of ice cream.
I'll break it down for you since you appear to be having trouble keeping up.
I care about any intelligence leaks, because by definition they have a serious effect on the security of our country. I don't care if it's coming from slimebag journalists or the mouth of the POTUS, they are bad.
You (and most of the people in this thread) only care about the journalists, as if the information they leak is somehow less damaging then the Intel from Trump. It was all classified the same way, for the same reason.
The table flipping thing was not faux-rage, it was actual rage at Bob for posting two contradictory things.
That's the disconnect though. Most posters are arguing on the legality of the leaks, not the impact of the information. I agree the impact can be the same, the difference is the journalist doesn't have the clearance to receive such information where the president does. The president also has the wide view of all intelligence and classified reports, while the reporter only has targeted information. There can be strategic reasons for saying, "we have subs in their waters" but a journalist leaking such information does not have the ability to perceive this strategy.
Ninja simply doesnt get the fact that the POTUS has a different understanding of the information than the journalists. Trump sharing info with other nations is not the same. Trump sharing information to other nations is not a leak by definition. His blind hatred for Trump simply doesnt allow him to see that. Its sad really.
To be fair, if you view Trump's amateur political mistakes as an indicator that he is out of his league it stands to reason that these intelligence disclosures are not part of any strategic plan and is reckless. I've still defended Trump primarily because I think he is rational and his entire presidency to date has been sensationalized. Of course, I'll change my tune if the Russia investigation has a negative outcome.
Part of that is the media's insane negative slant on all things Trump. When Harvard finds that 80% of coverage on Trump in the first 100 days is negative, its going to skew people's perceptions. They even found Fox to be 52% negative. Like you, Im just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt until he proves otherwise.

Agree. It's the reason I have moved from mainstream media to podcasts entirely.
"The World Next Week" for foreign affairs and "Unfilter" for general politics. They're released weekly. Unfilter does have a libertarian/right lean but they do a great job of calling the media out for the logical fallacies that get reported. Dan Carlin's Common Sense is monthly but is a good issue based political show. Dan is definitely an independent that rips both sides and is strongly anti-establishment/political party.
I really enjoy Dan Carlin's common sense. Fair and critical of both sides.

honestly, that might be the plan. a great way to catch these people is to put out a bunch of random fake info. then see which one gets reported and you have your leak.

It started before Obama but only got worse under him, especially last year. FBI is out of control.
If UK and USA were smart, UK would send some false reports to certain channels and then USA can figure out which Dept leaked them.
Thought one of the latest reports was there was at least one mole in the White House.
