Do you perform better when angry?

This is something we talked about at work yesterday. There are too many examples of athletes performing great when angered about anything. Michael Jordon pretty much got angry about every, minor insult he ever experienced and used it as fuel. But does that make you perform better at work, when you get passed over for a promotion or the company does something really stupid or someone microwaves fish for lunch?

Nope. I'm just angry for a while and then get over it...99% of the time.
