Anthony Montalvo earned the start at defensive tackle at Pittsburgh and actually saw the most reps too, appearing in 42 of the 93 defensive plays.
The redshirt sophomore appeared at Monday's press conference.
"They were a physical offensive line," Montalvo said of Pitt. "They came out with great tempo and great pace. It was up to us to become physical with them, but they got the better of us."
As for their difficulty in pressuring Pitt QB Kenny Pickett, Montalvo credited their offensive line again.
"They did a great job picking up our stunts, props to them."
