Nothing is official yet, but I'm hearing it's "likely" that BOTH Darius Perry and Brandon Mahan will return for their extra year of eligibility. I had always heard Mahan was probable, but wasn't sure about Perry. If so, that means every returning contributor except Avery Diggs is coming back. Diggs, of course, was a non-factor until very late in the season.
Point Guards:
Darius Perry
Tony Johnson
Darius Johnson*
Guards/Wings:
Brandon Mahan
Darin Green Jr.
Dre Fuller
Isaiah Adams
P.J. Edwards* (combo guard)
Tyem Freeman*
Bigs:
C.J. Walker
Jamille Reynolds
Sean Mobley
Ed'Xavior Rhodes*
That's 13 scholarship players, but returning seniors (Perry and Mahan) won't count against the scholarship limit, so technically UCF could have two spots left. UCF could still use more size as we know they were recruiting UNLV transfer Cheikh Mbacke Diong who down to UCF, FSU and Utah.
Assuming everybody remains healthy, the extra scholarships would obviously give UCF its deepest roster ever.
