This is what it is going to look like on tv. They need to build another one next off season.

UCF won't expand that club, if ever until its sold out for multiple years. Its still not sold out but sales have gone well and are already bringing in more revenue ($900 per seat) before first beer is ever poured and before the first "upgraded" concession item has been sold compared the the few season tix sales those upper level seats in the sun use to bring in.

I wish it was a more medieval theme bar area with an open deck. A beach theme really has zero to do with Orlando and seems like it doesn't fit. At least it removes a little more of a metal look of the stadium.

Sweet...my seat is installed.

I really hope UCFAA uses this as a chance to show new high level donors they are appreciated and get recognition from the AA office through materials and mailings, as well as the experience of this new section.

UCF needs more donors...and the recognition and exclusivity of these efforts is what is going to help UCFAA get more money to move into the future- hopefully they don't screw it up.

That's an older photo. Many more ESC seats have been installed since that photo was taken.

Agreed. I just wish that there were more levels of ticket sales. So much room between $900- $100. I still want beer at games.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to say. Are you looking for some kind of premium club seating for less than $900 per seat?

Regular (non-premium) season tickets have tons of options between $99 per seat for upper end zone (no GKC gift required), to approximately $940per seat (including GKC donation) for west side, center section, upper deck.

There are four separate pricing tiers that do not require a GKC donation and 11 pricing tiers for sections requiring a GKC donation.

You can get approximately 20-25 yard line seats on the east side (right next to the ESC) for $200 each plus only a $50 GKC donation.

I get that but in order to get beer I have to buy the $900 seats or the club seats which are sold out. How about some $200-500 seats where I can buy some beer and bring the family.

I'm not trying to be mean...but is it possible you are looking for a BMW on a VW budget? The only way I can see that happening is if they were to create another "club" in the north end zone. There you are talking about season tickets that are normally $99. Add a little premium...say an additional $100 since you wold be sitting in a wider, chairback seat, plus a $200 GKC donation and you are looking at $400 per seat.

I just want the ability to buy a $9 beer in the stadium.

Start with $4.00 water at the games. :flush:

I would like to see nothing but the chairbacks seats across the stadium and maybe keep the students with bench seating. It would look so much more visually appealing. How much would that really cost? Maybe $500K?

Not sure...but that would put it at about $16 per seat which I think is kind of low. Te other problem is that chairback seats take up more room which lowers the capacity of the stadium.

part of the reason why BHNS is so loud for its size is bc the lack of chairback seats. I'd like to see them added between the 40s but not for the entire stadium. The scoreboard and sounds system should be higher on the priority list for upgrades

Upgrade the scoreboard to a large HD screen on both sides. Need less metal so remove all metal fencing that looks god awful. Brick the bottom area. Metal bench seating should be replaced by actual seats except student sections. Add medieval lantern lights around the top of the stadium. Should give it more character.

Top 3 Firm_bizzle priorities:

1.) Beer Garden in the north end zone.

2.) Change our name to Florida Technological University.

3.) #firingGOL

Putting a new scoreboard in the south endzone isn't as easy to do as it is in the north. The recruiting room is directly below where the supports would be. So either that room has to be moved or the scoreboard would have to straddle it. Niether are cheap options.

I am not in favor of bricking in the bottom where the fence is on the field. If that happens, it would contain the noise of people stomping on the stands and negate an advantage for UCF. It's a lot louder on the field level than it seems when you are in the stands.

I'd prefer to not have actual seats. It reduces capacity. Have you ever been in Neyland Stadium? It's bench seating so they can pack everyone in like sardines.

I agree. We don't need seat. They look good but we need to be able to pack them in at times. I think max max capacity is around 49,000. Maybe we could make some mid-field seats for boosters and higher ticket fans and other amenities (hint beer garden) to reduce max max capacity to 44-45,000. Our average crowd of 35-40,000 will better in this format.

Sections that require at least a $500 donation should get an actual real stadium seat at the bare minimum if not just adding seats across the stadium. The seats in the esc look great. Our stadium looks pretty bare bones now so little things can help. Not worried about capacity. Hell we are dropping capacity for the esc. Build an upper deck if that becomes an issue in the future.

Chain Link fencing has to go. That is an eye sore.

Stone facade would look nice. If UCF bought the materials, I could round up a few folks and have it finished by the first game. It's not difficult or expensive.

So firm brizzy, what are your thoughts on UCF selling beer at BHNS?

Are you joking? That should have been done 8 years ago. The way around the NCAA's policy is to take BHNS off of campus by changing the boundaries of campus. All G5 teams should be serving beer now IMHO.

The NCAA is OK with us or any school selling beer on campus. The NCAA only cares if it is a NCAA championship event, like a men's bball tournament game.

WVU started selling beer two years ago.

So you are picking aesthetics over a more difficult stadium for UCF's opponents?

Yes...The bottom area is covered with banners anyway that limit sound. Looks go a long way for everything. Stadiums have railings without chain link fencing. No reason to see any chain link fencing outside of prison. I think we can figure out something else.

Stone facade would look good. If that fencing is there in 5 years, i'll lose my mind. Our campus looks too nice for that crap.

Yes, the beach has everything to do with Orlando. It is 25 minutes away and is usually tied into many vacation packages, not to mention Ron Jon advertising on every road in the state. I do wish they did more of a tongue-in-cheek blend of the beach and medieval theme...you know, take the juxtaposition of the two and smash them up.

There isn't anything tropical about Orlando. More oak trees vs palm trees in the area. Anyway, anything to get rid of metal is 100% better in my book.

Agreed, stadium is bland...but the Palm trees around the stadium disagree on the whole lack of beach "Aura". You're wrong...I'm right. No argument. I win. Hush....or I'll post a picture of an Oak tree by the beach.
