Feckless Cun+ Trump dictated the lie explanation on JR's Russia meeting. Something repeatadly denied

I don't think Trump has lied, just exaggerates a lot

Direct quote from the type of idiots that support him. No amount of facts will change their mind, you just have to accept the fact that people are fuking stupid and are allowed to vote.

"The president dictated a short but accurate response ... on behalf of his son,”

If this new information is so critical in some way, doesnt the fact that the statement was accurate count for something?

Unfortunately the scandals don't stop from this admin just because its the weekend. I wonder why you didn't say the same thing to Bob, starting a legit 100% unhinged thread on a saturday night whining about something that didn't make sense regarding trump. You are super bipartisan after all.

Is this a scandal?

Under any other admin, a major lie regarding an investigation about treason would be a scandal covered 24/7.

Under this admin it's a normal Sunday and will get lost in the 2,000+ lies told by Trump since his election.

It wasn't accurate. That's a trump lawyer quote.

I love the shock coming from the left about trump pushing the boundaries of what a president is allowed to do. News flash: the last 3 presidents have all pushed the boundaries and almost nobody was concerned about it. Good lord, compare what trump is accused of with what Nixon was. Do you think that nothing has changed since then and trump is taking some big leap here?

*record scratch*
Almost no one was concerned about Obama pushing the boundaries of what a president is allowed to do.

What revisionist history is this?

False. He was forcing the circumvention of immigration law through selective enforcement and punishing states that tried to comply with the law.

Of course. It should concern you when any politician can selectively enforce the laws that they deem acceptable based on their whims. Why bother having 3 coequal branches of government?

Exactly. And whens the last time that congress used their authority to stop the president from doing something unconstitutional? Or when was the last time that SCOTUS had a unanymous ruling that was based on constitutional principles or led by personal politics?

Heck yeah. You talk about tyrant presidents, well obama was the king of deciding what laws he would follow and what laws he would ignore. Isnt that a tyrant?

It's hilarious how these total fantasy hypotheticals that 3rd parties throw around about Trump send FC and his kind on this board into TDS bits of insanity, yet they collectively yawn when confronted with ACTUAL evidence that our past President did far more to overstep Executive Authority than Trump has even remotely attempted to do thus far.

Tells you all you need to know about FC and his 1-2 followers here.

and they forget the fact that trump now has those abilities because of the previous presidents power grabs in the first place. its like they never thought the other team would suddenly be able to wield the same power and that maybe they shouldnt have that power in the first place...

Wait, so almost no one was concerned about the last 3 presidents overstepping but you were all very concerned about the last president overstepping. I'm so confused.

You see, you only care about Obama overstepping because he was Obama not because you have principles.

Why is that hard to understand? Most people werent concerned about usurpation of power, they were just either in favor of the action or against the action and didnt pay attention to whether or not it was within the bounds of what a president can do.

We should have a line-item veto so the president can decide what parts of a spending bill he wants to spend money on and what parts he wants to ignore. Damn any bipartisan agreement from Congress. I say let trump unilaterally keep any tax dollars from going to california or massachusetts.

You specifically mentioned Obama so that's what I addressed. If I ever need goalposts moved, I will be sure to call you.
Actually I was quoting crazy holes post. Where he said no one cared about the past 3 and challenging him that people did cared about Obama when he did it. Which they obviously did as you proved within 3 min of my post.

Fair enough, Mr. Chicken.

you don't think that might be a weeeeeeeee bit too much power for the office to have?

Such a huge lie.....all these people at FRUMP tower for adoption??? LOL Give me a Fckn Break

By pretty much every account the Russians got the meeting by saying they had dirt on Hillary, but when they brought up adoption the Trump campaign people were irritated.
They WANTED dirt and allegedly didnt get anything. Is that better or worse than the narrative that the Russians said it was about adoption from the start?
