Spectrum Stadium will host Florida Cup (soccer) games this Friday through Monday (MLK Day). As a result, this will have an impact on the first recruiting weekend of January. At the present time, UCF has no scheduled for visits for this upcoming weekend and things will likely stay that way because the stadium and facilities will be occupied.
Really not an ideal visit weekend if you can't bring recruits into the stadium locker room, field, cabana, etc. Plus dealing with the stadium traffic, etc.
It's not set in stone that UCF won't host anybody, but it would have to be a special circumstance that arises within the next couple days. Otherwise, they will focus on players visiting for the Jan. 19, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 weekends.
Here is the weekend schedule of games at UCF:
Friday - PSV Eindhoven vs. Fluminese
Saturday - Rangers F.C. vs. Corinthians
Sunday - Atletico Nacional vs. Atletico
Monday - Fluminese vs. Barcelona S.C.
