He kinda sucks as a QB TBH. But he would be an excellent running back or defensive back prospect. I won't dispute the talent.
What are you still doing here? You are not a UCF fan and it’s only a matter of a few weeks before Gus Malzone is FIRED. Disappear?!He kinda sucks as a QB TBH. But he would be an excellent running back or defensive back prospect. I won't dispute the talent.
He kinda sucks, have you seen his numbers ?He kinda sucks as a QB TBH. But he would be an excellent running back or defensive back prospect. I won't dispute the talent.
I agree with you on AL1, but you of all people asking someone why they're on a UCF Board when they're not a UCF fan is incredible to me.What are you still doing here? You are not a UCF fan and it’s only a matter of a few weeks before Gus Malzone is FIRED. Disappear?!
I’m just glad we evaluated KJ so well.He kinda sucks as a QB TBH. But he would be an excellent running back or defensive back prospect. I won't dispute the talent.
agree 1000%TC is small and not a great QB. Rizk is a better QB. I’m wanting to roll with him and Colson as primary backup.

His numbers aren’t great for college. 3000 yards is the minimum for a great year. He has half of that with only a few games to go. Take away the cupcake game they had and the last game in which he was pulled( they scored 37 in that game) and they average 22 ppg. That’s not good for college at all.He kinda sucks, have you seen his numbers ?
completion percentage: 61.5 Yards: 1,366 Average: 8.5 TD:18 Int: 5
The numbers do not suck and he had a bad Boston College team poised to go to a bowl for the first time since 2018. Although I will admit something seems off that he doesn't fight through adversity and leaves at the first sign of trouble.
@connerito I'm not sure where you pulled that quote from but I posted Brian Angulo et al's CBS Sports article in the latest Gabriel thread (and below) and from it, I quote:This says it all about our current Coach and the quarterback situation
“Gabriel, a three-year starter at UCF who threw for 8,037 career yards and accounted for 78 touchdowns there, entered the transfer portal in late November. He broke his collarbone in the third game of the 2021 season, but more than that, Gabriel felt like he didn’t quite fit in with first-year coach Gus Malzahn’s system.”
I can’t imagine a quarterback wouldn’t feel comfortable in this situation when he has to run the ball every time n it is not recommended to throw ball downfield when Gus is calling plays lol. High school coach

Maybe it'll clear-up some rumors...
New York Times ( above. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/31...-infectious-energy-and-the-importance-of-fit/) also NFL network reported that his dad n he wanted to be in an offense that was more comfortable in for him. I remember his dad saying this at the time@connerito I'm not sure where you pulled that quote from but I posted Brian Angulo et al's CBS Sports article in the latest Gabriel thread (and below) and from it, I quote:
"Later that year, Gabriel entered the transfer portal and left for Oklahoma, delivering the Knights a gut punch before their final season in the AAC.
Later, in a quiet moment with Malzahn, the veteran coach told me that if Gabriel stuck around, he believed the Knights could have gone undefeated in 2022. Malzahn wasn't just blowing hot air. "
So can we set the record straight once and for all? Gus, according to this published article, DID NOT drive Gabriel away!
That’s ridiculous. If u handcuff a kid from succeeding at what he does best ( and succeeding with for the betterment of him n the team) u r pushing him out. Maybe Gus thought he could do better ( which is another story). Nobody outwardly gets kicked to side there r ways they leaveNow maybe Gus's offense drove him away but insinuating Gus kicked him to the corner is untrue.
Who the hell has insinuated that? Now maybe Gus's offense drove him away but insinuating Gus kicked him to the corner is untrue.
