Calvary Christian (Ft. Lauderdale) power forward Taylor Hendricks text me tonight that he is hearing from the Knights.
Hendricks currently holds offers from UF, FSU, Iona, Iowa State, LSU, Miami, usf, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Memphis, Notre Dame and Western Kentucky are also involved but, like UCF, haven't offered.
A long, mobile forward, Hendricks has some touch around the rim and has shown some ability to step out and make perimeter shots. He has a good motor and is a solid, but not an explosive, athlete. He will needs to get stronger to play PF at the next level but I really love his upside.
He has a fraternal twin brother who is about 6-foot-5. Decent player but not close to the player Taylor is.
This will be their first season at Calvary Christian after playing at University School in Davie.
