Frost didn't shake Harbaugh's hand?

FWIW all your MIchigan forum counterparts didn't agree with the targeting either...NCAA really needs to work on figuring that out

Ignore Prof. Worst poster on the board.
Oh, Ace, I see you can type only while weaving through traffic. You obviously didn't have enough characters to fill an entire tweet, so you posted here. And so informative. Telling folks who'll never return here who to listen to? As they trash us. Their only tie to Michigan is their fair weather support (sun or shine).

Harbaugh didn't run up the score. They scored a bunch bc we repetitively gave them the ball way inside our own territory over and over again. Defense had to deal with the worst special teams display in the history of college football.
Agreed. It was the worst. Total embarrassment sitting there and watching it, yet it's hardly mentioned

I totally agree (and never said they did), although if they'd punched it in on that last drive, they wouldn't have minded. In that sense, they definitely didn't "call off the dogs" either. I sensed that Harbaugh was merely trying to beef up the running stats (which they did); hence Frost's post-game pointed comment about them needing a sweep to go over the 100-yard rushing mark. There's a point of pride on each side. You mean you couldn't get to 100 yards against pitiful UCF after getting 300 vs. Hawaii?

It's a nice rushing yard disparity. No doubt. However we lost 51-14, so I'm not sure why he needs to even talk about a late game sweep

Like I said, it's pride. His job is to mold a team, not run a sports betting outfit. He's a man of very few words and wants his players to do the talking. It's their team, and fans can never know what they go through. When I had the starting RB and Center in my classes in recent years, it was clear they were all business and dedicated. They were mature beyond their year. The one would sometimes fall asleep in class after finishing a fruit and veggie bowl, because he'd come in straight from off-season weight training. The sacrifices they make, though neither had the physical assets to make the pros.

We lost, they won. Let's move on. Despite the score, I feel a whole lot better about this team going forward than I did a week ago. The O-line will get better week by week. We have to improve in the secondary. Michigan is a team that has a legitimate chance of winning some major hardware at the end of the season, and I think our team went out and competed very well against them. The final score may not indicate it, but I think we did a lot of things really well. Special Teams need to get better. Hopefully Holman won't be out too long. Right now I would say the eastern division in the AAC is wide open. Keep getting better week by week and who knows, we might win the east and get a rematch with Houston.

The targeting call was complete crap, and my understanding is he is out the first half of next game. Is that right? If so, there should be some kind of way to have an unbiased judgement on that. What complete garbage.

So, do we all agree the refs were complete crap and should be sent down to wherever they're sent down to? UCF fans seem to point out the many, many crap calls or lack of calls, and Mich fans point out the 1 or the other bad call/lack of call against UCF. So does that mean we agree, the refs should be fired?

rewatch that tape and I guarantee there are 10 Michigan holding penalties that were not called

Is that really the worst you could find? lol. How about the one, or many where the Olineman tackled the defense from behind. I agree with the others, it probably wouldn't have made a huge difference, probably would have been closer, but it's really difficult playing against 2 teams.

I believe that only happens if the infraction occurs in the second half. The was in the first half, so it only should be a length of game expulsion. When Hall was called in the second half, he served out his penalty by missing the first half of the next game.

That's what most folks were talking about in the Dungeon...while it was happening and obviously after too.

Too many blunders...even BESIDES the FOUR blocked kicks (i.e. Payton's terrible decision to run ball out of end after a high kick...forced UCF Offense to start near 10 yd line...which lead to a punt deep in UCF's end, which ended up being blocked...giving Michigan great field position....plus another special teams "blunder" on Michigan PAT...dumb 15 yd personal foul...gave Michigan the 50 yd line at kickoff...where a perfect pooch kicked lead to a fumble and gave Michigan a very short field).

It was easily the worst all-around performance of a UCF Special Teams since the program began in 1979,

Yes, that pretty much sums it up. Glad you're acknowledging it. Also, the messed up plays and/or penalties (I can't remember which) that caused us to punt from our own 5 yard-line. Because of this, we were in max protection (no gunners) and and they returned it to the 5 or 10. The punt wasn't Houston's greatest as well. Let's face it, Michigan was playing on half a field all day long.

Get Payton off of the kickoff return team. He's not a burner, is indecisive, and is only running at half speed after he brings it out. Take that thing out and run like hell! There's no time to think, it has to be instinctive.

One more thing, on that short kickoff, how the heck did the upback lose that fumble??? It literally fell 2 feet in front of him and he scooped it up right away. It was right in front of me. That one really hurt.

The player ejection was really bad. Even after replay they couldn't see it wasn't targeting? Even the announcers disagreed with the call before and after the replay was made. Those refs were horrible.

Concerning Harbaugh, I don't blame him. Run up the score. They gotta impress the polls. Whatever.

I find it amazing that vegas pretty much nailed the point spread. It was an interesting game. Michigan has a lot of talent and really didn't need the refs on their side. They would have won regardless. We lick our wounds and try to rebuild and learn from this loss. Good Luck Wolverines the rest of the year. I'll be pulling for you guys.
Vegas is usually pretty good IMO. Problem is, they put our over/under for wins at 4. Maybe 5.

Special teams put UCF in a quick, deep hole. Everyone here is acknowledging that. You have to give credit to Michigan's scouting how SCState should have blocked a punt last week, and plotting a rush the punter scheme. Historically, once they block one punt, a punting teams seldom can recover their timing and confidence in the game because there's no way to duplicate and correct that on the sideline! It translated to the FG team as well, which has most of the same people.

I looked at the replay, and it sure looked like the upback recovered the ball on that kickoff and was on the ground at the time. So when the Michigan guy grabbed it away, it already should have been blown dead. I think it was just another bad call.

Just like UCF opener with some rookie AAC refs that were pathetic...those officials yesterday were conf refs (Big 10 of course) and are controlled by that conf.

The Big 10 team won and will stay ranked in the Top 5 so mission accomplished...as Conf Refs are so rarely ever "punished" for poor performance.

Harbaugh Is a prick. We're talking about a guy who didn't even give his brother any respect for winning the Super Bowl. Harbaugh Telling the refs to throw out the UCF defender flagged for targeting (which was actually text book football) was ridiculous. No one should have been ejected for that hit.

Michigan is a good team, but run by a arrogant ahole. The media thinks it's cute now. But when he starts losing (and he will), they will eat him a live.

Let's move on improve and get our second win.
Arrogant Ahole? We are talking about Frost right?!?!?!?!?!?!

Why would he? Frost just said in his post-game interview that "we out rushed them and out hit them!" We (and the refs) beat us. Going for it at his own 40 on fourth down with 5 minutes to go. Passing on another 4th and short with 2 minutes to go, as well as passing on the final drive repeatedly instead of running out the clock, despite Frost putting in its backups. If Harbaugh wanted to give his freshmen more experience, he should have put them in with 8 or 12 minutes left. Keeping all his starters in until 5:30 in the game with a 37 point lead.

No wonder everyone hates Harbaugh. Michigan fans have no class at all either! Note how the stands emptied long, long before the rains came. It was a beautiful sunny day and they took a hike. I guess when you play all your games at home and use your own official to make calls, you just drop in when you want. Spoiled!

Glade we humiliated their vaunted run game, forced them to punt 4 times, settle for field goals 2 other times, and how we got into their territory so many times that they could have charged us rent! Getting 275 yards on the ground is amazing and will really cause voters in the polls to question just how good Michigan really is! And we got to their QB so regularly that he'll be seeing Knight uniforms in his sleep.
Yes, did you see the polls, oh while your at it check the score board again.

Really bizarre stuff. I also heard in Ann Arbor this weekend that Frost may have been in on the Kennedy Assassination.

From the tv coverage it looked that way. There is a video in this thread of Frost shaking hands with Harbaugh.
They shook hands. Let's end this nonsense.

It was soooo cold and so much looked like they hated to do it. Oh well. Two fierce competitors

Step 1) Don't have the on field refs and replay booth officals paid for by the same team

Hahahaha what an idiotic post. Please tell me how UCF humiliated Michigan's run game when UCF stacked the box with 8 or 9 guys the entire game. A coach would be a fool to try and run the ball down after down in that situation. Harbaugh saw what Frost was scheming and he trumped it with damage through the air like he was supposed to do. 275 yds on the ground is amazing wow from what 2 big runs for the majority of that. So humiliating would be the scoreboard at the end of the game where it showed UCF 14 UM 51. So humiliating that UM moved up 1 spot in the polls and you here left to make every excuse in the book why UCF lost to a better team. Oh and the Harbaugh bashing hmmmm I bet you would sell your left nut to have Harbaugh be the coach at UCF.

You're Michigan. You should be outrushing "lowly" UCF under any circumstance, so stop making excuses yourself. Take away the long runs?? Why do you do that?? Who does that?? There were several other nice runs by a true freshman and the QBs.

Let's take away the sacks for losses that count in the run stats and the long runs and that gives us what???

Nearly 200 yards!!!

Also, please don't brag about moving up one spot. You didn't watch the Clemson game by the way did you?? That's a reach and pathetic actually.

You know how things are going in the right direction? Even after going 0-12 last year, fans of the #5 team in the country still think you're important enough to go out of their way to talk trash to.

This ^^^^

The running stats really are irking them. It's obvious. Have to revert to the phrase "scoreboard!" I can read the scoreboard quite well thank you. I even took a photo of it in a downpour to remember when we turn this thing around.

Well there's your problem. Michigan fans don't watch on TV. They go to games -- and practice. #stepyagameup :boxing:

That is the primary reason that we aren't ranked. Practice. Our fans don't attend practice enough. How do you think the players feel when they only see Honors and I out there at practice. I need a better effort from you folks.
