I expect to hear a format change coming based on CCG losses impacting CFP bids. I would suggest the following
4 P4 CCG winners get a double bye (1-4)
4 P4 CCG losers get a 1st round bye (seeds 5-8)
7 at-large plus top G5 champ (seeds 9-16) play in first round
This rewards the regular season. Forces the non-CCG teams into a first round wild card game. (Unfortunately the G5 champ is forced to play a CCG and a first round game)
