P5/P4 UCF left when Danny White left, the athletic program is doing what USF did when they joined the Big East.
The "we're just lucky to be here" and "we're not worthy to compete in this league for the next few decades until we have time to build" mentality that T-mo gives off is killing the entire athletic department.

Danny would’ve never tolerated our horrific decline like Mohijar has.
I‘ve heard from someone with some connections. That is exactly how this administration thinks and it runs all the way to the top. Cartwright wants to focus on academics and has his hands full with a state government that in increasingly meddling and hostile to the university.
They view us getting to the Big 12 as the big success but ultimately do not see us contending consistently on a large scale. From what I understand there is no appetite right now to do anything with Gus.
This is beyond concerning and entirely what was perceived to be the problem from members on this board. Myself included. We’ve got a bookworm for a president 🤓
That’s what I heard a couple weeks ago. Glad to see things may have changed.
