We won because we played great. When was the last time Obarski made that many FG? When was the last time we actually tackled? Had an OLine that protected? had a dominant DLine? This was a new UCF team

Proved on the field this year. The way it should be. That's all we ever wanted. Big ups to these players. They kept grinding all year.
The one area no one is talking about is how our play has improved in the second half of our games . I think Gus has made great halftime adjustments all year. Last night was another example as UCF dominated the second half. I don't recall Heup ever making good halftime adjustments. To the Gus haters you can't deny this part of his coaching.

NO, but I believe we would be ranked if we beat Louisville, which was a game we should have won. Maybe a better question would be should UCF be ranked going into next year?

When they interviewed him at halftime and he said “I think we know what they are doing now”. You could see him beaming with confidence. I knew we had the game won after that.

Agree 100% on Gatewood...
On MAR (btw, great play he made last night), he was hurt all pre-season and about half the regular season. I think he has a future at RB....if Bowser leaves for example, or if he stays and gets hurt. I liked what he did in a limited role.
