So conflicted with this team. As much as I naturally want a W every Saturday, I think it’s time a losing record is in store for this program to definitively (hopefully) get some change. Going 6-6 and making a bowl game will only be kicking the can further down the road.
Personally I don’t want to see us lose to N Dakota St in the Poison Ivy Bowl.
Is there someway to keep Gus away from Rizk? How about suggesting he go up to the booth so he can see the game better. Better yet, maybe he could stay home and work on CEO things.
If this team, miraculously, ends up in a bowl (not named toilet), it would be assaulted by the Alaska State School for the Blind, Deaf and Mute.
Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling Gus is interfering in the game despite saying he is giving up play calling. If he's not calling plays any longer why is he carrying around play calling list?
Personally, I think the talent is there. The coaching is holding it back though.
Another coaching error. When you’re on offense, get the play in and get the players in get moving.
Our DB still have no clue that they are supposed to turn around and look for the ball! What the hell kind of coaching are they getting?
ASU voodoo just before half-time always seems to 'rebate' a few of those.
Good effort tonight win or lose. They look better with Rizk out there so far. Gus should have next year as long as they have fight and competency.

Upgrade it to a D+ if he made the call on Rizk.
Downgrade to a F if Tim did against Gus' wishes.

He was forced into this change. Hinshaw always liked Rizk Gus wouldn’t know a quarterback, if it smacked him in the face

Gus isn't the head coach. Gus doesn't sign off and approve every signed. He just doesn't.

The biggest difference between UCF's play since Colorado and Florida is the Knights' advantage in overall team speed, which they lacked against the Gatys and Buffs.
UCF had opportunities to beat EVERY opponent since Florida save BYU, which dominated the LOS.
But hey I don't know football.
