Still don't understand why this guy was fired. Allegedly it was over him touching a woman on her back to console her. He even said that after she felt uncomfortable, and he immediately apologized. Nothing was thought of it for years ... until a lawyer got involved. Although I read there was another complaint.

If this is all that it takes, I think we're now to the point where people will be fired for touching ... including a lot of women. I could name a dozen who have, good, caring, monogamous (to their partners), women, in my career.

I also could name a couple dozen more who harassed me for assuming things about me because I wouldn't join a group in sexual innuendo. And there's always a woman who takes issue with the fact that I don't drink. More than one have accused me of 'waiting to pry' once they get drunk.

I don't think the problem will be removed until everyone takes the world far more seriously than they do, including women who let other women cause issues. Especially these days as men are holding each other accountable.
