But you did make an absolute negative comment regarding law enforcement -- them not using non-lethal methods, and preferring lethal ones -- because they are completely unaccountable.

It was absolutist and dead-wrong. Even you know that non-lethal weapons aren't remotely as incapacitating as lethal ones. That was demonizing police, and saying they kill by default, because they can.

It goes right up there with LEOs commit murder. No, a very small subset of them commit manslaughter, and a handful have committed murder.

No one is forcing bqknight to have a gun or berating him for not wanting to shoot. Some of us are offering our opinions and simply stating that there are plenty of people that he can identify with if he wants to go out and learn just in case. Besides, bq is damn well strong enough to stick up for himself and doesn’t need your help. In fact, although he and I may disagree about some (maybe many) things, I truly enjoy discussing issues with him.
