Georgia UCF Tag

There is an alumni in Georgia pushing for a UCF tag in Georgia. This needs to happen. Most large southeastern Universities have a tag in Georgia. We need to get this done. We need the alumni association or another UCF connection to help.

Can anyone help with this? The alumni association seems unwilling to help yet other schools alumni association helped out for their tag.

They've tried it multiple times. GA needs like 10,000 prepaid plates before they move forward, Maybe our alumni in GA have reached critical mass to succeed this time.

$25k? ...seems negligible for a marketing budget with upside potential on multiple fronts, return on investment - subsequently paid by alumni for annual re-registration.

Anyone have connections with the athletic department? It seems like this would be a great way to be more visible to UCF recruits in Georgia.

I'm pretty sure it only needs 1,000 prepaid. But why give extra money to Georgia state government, or any? Not a cent will go to UCF. You could be just as visible with a big UCF flag in your yard, or bumper stickers, which I see a lot around Atlanta area etc, and the money goes to UCF instead. Also, there is a front to a vehicle and no 2nd plate requirement, could have UCF there.
