Why not us? No one is giving the USA a Chance to win Copa America, it is everyone else's tourney to win, but the US should be happy to be in it? Nah.. I say give it our all! Shock the World!

Cannot wait for this feeling again!

Lets get real, USMNT is not going to win the Copa. It will be impressive if we even get out of our group. That starts tonight and I cant wait. Columbia is certainly the toughest team in our group. I just hope we can tie them.

Men's team should be disbanded and the money given to the women's team.

Words you will never hear: congrats to the men's USA team for winning the 20xx World Cup.

The women kick ass. The men are caca shit.

Put the women in bikinis when they play and they'll get better ratings and sponsors and make more money.

Sorry if this comes off as petty, but i've been there several times and have many friends that were born there. It's spelled Colombia with two o's. Columbia is the capital of South Carolina.

Don't mind Wayne. He's did it on purpose trying the whitewash the country name.

True that; again, not trying to flame by any means. They're a military ally (pretty much our only ally in South America) so I think they deserve a little more respect than usual.

Now you can misspell Mexico, Nicaragua or whoever else and I won't care (although the Venezuelan chicks are pretty smokin' hot).

Thank you Jedi. I was born in Colombia and a US Citizen. In soccer tonight I'll take Colombia.

The USMNT needs to play Copa America every time it is held if they want to get better. Fifa's #1, #3 (I don't buy it), #5, #7, #9 and #13 are in the Conmebol. In Concacaf they don't even need to beat Mexico (#16) to qualify to tournaments

Colombia AND Costa Rica in the same group?

Yeah, we might finish 1-2-0 in the first round. I hope I'm wrong.

nm, found it on Fox Sports 1. Figured it would've been on Fox since it is our own dang national team. Guessed wrong.

FS1 actually does a fantastic job on their soccer broadcasts though. Better than ESPN & NBCSports, IMO.

Lets hope we can take it to Costa Rica tomorrow night. One of their best players got a red card in the last game, so that should help us.

So, when Murica is eliminated, who should be my new favorite team for the tourney? I prefer an underdog, but one that doesn't suck.

.

Cliff notes for me

Why do I care about this?

The empty stadiums for these games really signals "we're ready for soccer!" here in America.

My favorite was when the Arizona stadium played the Chile anthem for the Paraguay team last night. They're all funny looking and from somewhere that speaks Spanish- play any anthem you can find.

Have you seen the prices for these non USA/Mexico/Brazil/Argentina games? They are outrageous. Sorry, not going to pay $70 to sit at the top of the citrus bowl to watch 2 teams I dont even care about. Prices are a big reason the stadiums arent full.

Whats funny, is they are still averaging 21k more in attendance over last years Copa America in Chile.

The WBC 2013 hosted in the US averaged a little more than 24K per game with only one game getting more that 40K (US vs Mexico) some games had less than 5,000. I guess the US isn't ready for baseball either.

lol

The $10B enterprise known as MLB may disagree.

USMNT and international games are way more popular than the MLS. WBC is basically on par with spring training.

Need to get Nagbe and Pulisic more playing time this game.
We had all the games prior to this cup to do that. This is a cup and you play the best guys at the positions for as long as you can. That's what everybody else does.

I hate when coaches do that shit that Klingsman is doing. If Bradley isn't the midfielder you want or need then why start him? Jurgen is looking stupid by keeping Bradley on the pitch for so long and netting zero results. Zardes was frustrated as fukc against Colombia because he was running by all their defenders but nobody would get him the ball.

Regardless, just win, baby. Just win.

Germany is in the Euro which starts Friday, and is the same thing, in the Europe. As the Copa which hopefully will continue to make all the American teams play in a tougher competition.

& Somehow Germany is #4? Yeah.. FIFA is corrupt, but now I know they are dumb! Germany is #1, until they lose.. Wait USA BEAT GERMANY!! Oh yeah.. but still Germany is #1.. Until they lose Euro..
Copa America and Euro Champs should be in the top 3..
