Good news is we are going to have Frost at least through 2017

The only games I can see us winning are UConn and Tulane. Cincinnati has looked pretty bad too, but we're still not at a point where we have a consistent offense that can win us games

No way he wins enough games this year to get an offer from a major P5 program

I agree. As much as I like Frost, the second half was a shit show. You don't get P5 opportunities by choking. I still believe in the guy but he needs to instill some discipline - those penalties were pathetic. And the play calling down the stretch was embarrassing.

It's tough being a UCF fan. Scott Frost was in a complete funk after the game. Answering questions and putting his face in his hands. Nobody
ever said that this coaching college football and winning thing was easy. I think all of us are stronger than him at this point. This isn't Nebraska in the mid to late 90's. He's a fierce competitor, but he has to understand, that there will be games like this.

I like the humility. He admitted 'they' as the coaching staff need to learn from the mistakes. He knows he made a few questionable calls in that 2nd half when it comes to game/clock management

It was a terribly coached game last night in parts, but my God, talk about the bi-polar UCF fan. Win v. ECU and we're on top of the world, lose this game and my God nothing could be worse than UCF. Does anyone on here realize that this is Frost's 1st year coaching UCF? First year as a HC? That this is still mostly the team that went 0-12 last year? We already beat Willie's usf 1st year wins. Where are all the fans that were saying this was going to take awhile? We beat 3 mediocre teams and suddenly become unbeatable? I did think we'd only lose 2 more, but reality has to sit in. We aren't the best team in the AAC and we aren't the worst. I still think we go bowling, but at a much lower win total than I hoped we be. Good God.

Good news, at least we don't have the C-Whiny post past seasons this week.

Temple is probably a 7 or 8 win team this year and we lost in a squeaker. It's not like we lost to FIU or something. It was disappointing, but I'm still excited to see competitive football being played again. I don't think there's a game on the remaining schedule that it's unreasonable to think we could possibly win.

I don't think UCF will probably be in a better position than it was last night (being up by 18 pts at home)...as the rest of the schedule is far from easy:

at UCONN
at Houston
TULANE
CINCINNATI
TULSA (was stopped on the 1 foot line at Houston last night and lost in a heartbreaker)
at USF

Fair play but we had this game won. It was not one but a series of bad decisions that let the W slip through our fingers. I think that's why so many fans are low today.

Lots of fans had UConn, Tulsa, Cincinatti, and Tulane pencilled in as wins. We will be lucky to win 2 of those.

it's a bad loss but that's going to happen to this offense when the Oline is still weak and Frost doesn't have all his guys yet. He's not going to go away from his aggressive philosophy so that may put the D in tough positions when the offense doesn't put a team away. He's not going to suddenly go to a Pro set ball control TOP offense.

Please list the bad decisions by the coaching staff? Only one I can think of was going for it on 4 down at mid field early in the game instead of punting.

GOL would have called a timeout on that last Temple drive. Guaranteed. Lol.

Haven't seen a coach so down after what's not considered a huge game Shows he's a competitor and cares. He will toughen up. Coaching UCF will toughen up any coach. The long term fans are tough.
