Grier?

Ugh......geez the lack of logic with this guy's position. I'll just assume this is trolling from here out.

OK, so while Grier was jacking us around, now all Portal LBs with the same transfer grade or higher are already committed (assuming they go through with their commitment) leaving us in a tough spot. Best strategy now is to find experienced guys from the G5/FCS or take chances with high grade HS ratings....but that last option was like taking on Lewis, all stars and no motivation and/or talent.
The coaches knew he was going to Arky with TWill. They weren’t sitting back not working phones. But its a 2 way street. Just because we want a guy, doesn’t mean he wants to come here.

That's it, I've had it with them. Schedule me a H&H with Arkansas. Telling me Gus and T Mo can't get that done with their Arky roots?

There is no paperwork.
Wrong again. There’s a non binding grant in aid which he did sign. That’s why Arkansas announced him as part of their class and can discuss him publicly. He’s right now considered part of their team. He can leave sure, but so can every player on every team but for the recruits that just signed NLI.

Unless you grew up a fan of a certain team or that school has incredible academics and you care about that, then why would anyone choose the school? You always should choose the coach and not surprised or mad that Grier went with T-Will. Sucks to lose him b/c I think he’s great and would have started, most likely had a good season for us in a position of great need.

What am I wrong about? I literally said what you stated. There is nothing a transfer could sign like a NLI that is binding and will ensure they don’t jump ship after committing. Short of being enrolled in class and practicing with the team.

He pulled one of my favorite phrases when I was 8, "Siiiiike".

We are left hanging with a dumbfounded look. Man, this was rough news. We really need to plug that hole with a proven player. Ethan Calvert out of Utah looks like a good fit. He was getting playing time until he got injured.

But I was so inspired by his "Thank you Jesus. Let these coaches know UCF is where I want to be. UCF gonna get everything I got" speech.

I get that but I really can't put blame on him. Really t-will deserves the blame for putting him that position. Could have just waited a few days.
Grier and TWill both knew well before announced he was leaving. Interviewing takes time. Waiting a few days does nothing but maybe losing someone at his next stop.

No way Williams is sharing that information nor it was a done deal. Grier would just stay silent. Also UCF can file against Williams for using UCF money to recruit player for another team.

it's weird that Grier has not said a single thing. His twitter says UCF and he's been dead silent for a week now. The only thing that said Ark was them

You make zero sense. It's like you talk just to talk. Why would Grier willingly do the whole Brandon interview praising UCF and his decision to go there (and his usf teammates knocking him for leaving to UCF) if it was all a fluke? To give the benefit of the doubt to T-will, maybe he didn't know officially until last min and didn't say anything, still not to do that cool to Grier but whatever.

Nope. There is nothing binding a transfer signs like a high school player. Sorry. You lose.
For goodness sake, enough with the have to sign don't have sign a piece of paper. If they enroll they are tansferring here. If they don't then they aren't coming here. Done.

That was almost 2 weeks ago. He obviously didn’t know then. You’re acting like he did the interview 3 days ago.

Here you go Troll, notice the 2 words they use:

Arkansas' transfer class landed a late surprise Thursday night when former South Florida linebacker Antonio Grier signed with the Razorbacks. Grier, 6-1, 223, was previously committed to transfer to Central Florida

So now you can go whine to 247 Sports.....Suck it Troll

There is nothing he could sign that would prevent him from transferring back to us and playing for UCF in 2023.

This is even a bigger head scratcher if he doesn’t sign with UCF or TWill.
Unless somebody is dangling a HUGE NIL bag in front of him.

It is more likely that the Knights are the leader in the clubhouse for Grier, who doesn't want to show his hand until enrolling time at UCF.
