RJ Harvey has to step up. Plain and simple. He has not rushed for 100 yards since TCU. No touchdowns against Cincinnati.

UCF is 3-0 on games where it rushes for 200+ yards; 0-3 in games where it doesn't.

It’s hard to run for 100 when Gus keeps putting in your backups. Richardson should never have been in after fumbling. Put the starter back in. I get giving Montgomery some Carrie’s against old team but Johnny should have been watching until it was a blowout.
The offensive line has been significantly worse this year. RJ is making chicken salad out of chicken shit right now, and between that and the box being stacked, I guarantee you that if you were to find a stat of RJ’s total yards vs expected yards, there would be a significant difference. Sometimes he is the only reason that the ball gets moved.
Gus needs to do more and be creative. Hes someone that has a specific system and doesn’t adjust to utilize his players to the best of their ability. He literally is the Greg berthalter of football

Lou Saban was the only coach before McDowell n had no money n was told to compete with full scholarships schools.he actually started the football program. He beat teams above his division. Safe to say we can put Gus as the worst in ALL of history The president n AD has given Gus everything to succeed His ego well exceeds his loyalty to the school.
Actually, UCF has had 3 top 10 wins in program history and almost had its 4th on Saturday.
The only egregious coaching decision Gus made IMO was not putting KJ Jefferson in at QB when it was apparent that J. Brown cannot throw.Yeah, yesterday's loss was all Gus's fault.

When he was questioned as to why he was going in the hurry up offense late in the game, his answer was we were trying to score. When you are up and the clock is your friend makes absolutely no sense. . The offense, although they ran the ball well, was not really a threat throughout the game. The defense set up 14 of the points, and RJ had a huge run. You take away those three plays this game is a blowout. Extremely poor clock management, but we’ve seen that before.
