When he snatched his skull cap off walking back to the sideline. I can't imagine that kid's frustration. He gives it his all every down but his head coach's incompetence keeps the Ls piling.
Only a terrible coach would put the most important play of the game in the hands of the Big 12's leading rusher. When he snatched his skull cap off walking back to the sideline. I think you should have said only a terrible coach would put the most important play of the game in the hands of the Big 12 leading rusher, instead of his quarterback. Putting RJ in the wildcat put a massive target on him, and there was no way he was gonna make it, regardless of how great he is. He was targeted from the moment he stepped back there.Only a terrible coach would put the most important play of the game in the hands of the Big 12's leading rusher.

I would ask this question...Can you imagine what RJ could have done on a team with a real coach? He would be a definite Heisman candidate. Really feel sorry for him but very much. appreciate everything he’s done for this team and the unreal effort and unselfishness he has shown. Very mature young man.
His frustration is showing. Just look at his body language on the very last play when we didn't even attempt to lateral. Threw his hands up in frustration and snatched off his skull cap again. Can you imagine what RJ could have done on a team with a real coach? He would be a definite Heisman candidate. Lol just stop talking you f'n idiot.I would ask this question...
How much of Harvey's success is because of Gus?
Harvey had 3 yards before Gus was the head coach at UCF.

AL1 is either too stupid to function or a troll. Either way, not worth responding to.
Your question has absolutely nothing to do with the situation of the game. Putting RJ in the wildcat at that stage was the absolute wrong call. As to how successful would RJ have been on a team with a really good coach? Are you seriously asking that? He would’ve probably been the leading Heisman candidate. RJ has accomplished what he has despite Gus. His yardage would’ve most likely been even higher, but Gus runs him into situations where the defense totally keys on him and is able to stop him for short gains. If our offense had been able to take some of the attention away from him, who knowsI would ask this question...

My brother & I just said this. Man I feel bad for Harvey. Can you imagine what RJ could have done on a team with a real coach?
I thought he came from Virginia. What about on a pass first team that runs the ball only 20% of the time and has poor run blocking?
What about RJ's time away from UCF? You know ... he played for another program, correct?
He's a Hometown Hero. But yes, he left Heupel, went to Virginia, but then came back. He was also hurt his first year with Gus.I thought he came from Virginia.
Malzahn wanted Plumlee and Jefferson. There really has to be more to the story about Jefferson, a guy that looked terrible the moment he stepped on campus through multiple games despite being touted as Malzahn's new Newton and now Reddick is more likely to take a snap as QB than him. Now, how many yards and TDs did DG have before , while with and then after Gus. The best team in nation wanted DG but Gus didn’t think he was good for his offense. We need the Gus experiment to end. We need to get a coach in here ASAP to get recruiting back before NSD.
Reddick actually may be in better shapeMalzahn wanted Plumlee and Jefferson. KJ was bad last year too. People said it was because Ark sucked. He was the reason they sucked. This years QBs played better than him. Gus could have brought in a better receiver or defensive player if he doesn’t bring in KJ and just rolled with Brown, Colson and Rizk. If 3 QBs get hurt you probably aren’t winning games anyway.Malzahn wanted Plumlee and Jefferson. Lots of variables in your scenario.KJ was bad last year too. People said it was because Ark sucked. He was the reason they sucked. This years QBs played better than him. You are the idiot. Correct that you and Gus are idiots. Jefferson was pushed out at Arkansas for obvious reasons. Gus bit on him. The reason is, he has no idea how to coach or evaluate quarterbacks. He’s still in search of the one that he didn’t have to coach or even evaluate.Lots of variables in your scenario.
No. 1 Arkansas had some of the worst offensive linemen in the SEC during KJ's final season. Several Arkansas starting offensive linemen hit the portal and Arkansas has three new first time starters this year. Only one offensive lineman RG Joshua Braun who started last year is a starter for Arkansas this year.
No. 2, Arkansas fired its offensive coordinator at midseason and hired Bobby Petrino this season. Huge difference.
No. 3 KJ has highly ranked and highly regarded. Perhaps he wasn't a good leader, wasn't a hard worker, and wasn't a good culture fit, meaning he had a close circle of friends (SEC WRs Hudson and Johnson), but there is no denying Jefferson's talent.
Gus would have been an idiot not to sign Jefferson.
He’s an idiot signing him. Yes an idiot when he wakes up. He’s an idiot when he goes to sleep. He’s done here. His wife needs him at home.Lots of variables in your scenario.

Yeah, Gus is an idiot for signing the Preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. B/c who does that? He’s an idiot signing him. Yes an idiot when he wakes up. He’s an idiot when he goes to sleep. He’s done here. His wife needs him at home.
Doesn't matter what any publications say. KJ was a colossal bust. I didn't expect it, but he was. At the end of the day Gus whiffed on KJ and it's Gus' job to sift through any laziness or character issues. KJ got paid and then got fat and lazy. He was the one Gus brought in to lead this offense.
Up the middle for 1 or 2 yards over and over again won't cut it. O-line not good enough.Only a terrible coach would put the most important play of the game in the hands of the Big 12's leading rusher.
That just blows my mind how bad of a decision that was.KJ really just wanted that check. How could every fan see that he was fat, lazy and uninterested in playing, but not Gus? KJ looks like the happiest person on the entire team from the bench.
Geeze, with Harvey in the wild knight, call me crazy, but the defense might think Harvey is going to run the ballYour question has absolutely nothing to do with the situation of the game.
