Yearly Deficit After 12 Years of Reagan and Bush: $255 Billion Democratic congress...
Yearly Deficit After 8 Years of Clinton: +$128 Billion (surplus) Republican congress
Yearly Deficit After 8 Years of Bush: $1.4 Trillion Democratic Congress
Yearly Deficit After 6 Years of Obama: $448 Billion (2/3rds less) Republican Congress

Facts. The Republican Party doesn't need them!

Jeb and Rubio being fluent in Spanish will be huge to swing some of the Hispanic vote back. They can defend their positions in a way that will connect with that demo like this interview below for example, the interviewer and that network lean left so it was far from a softball interview and he still held his own

Lean left is a massive understatement.

Univision might as well be paid for by the DNC. Their "famous host" Ramos essentially opposes any and all laws that try to actually enforce the immigration laws of this country. I'm not sure he even believes there should be a border; just an autonomous region where people can stream into American cities without going through any of the legal channels.

In fact Univision is owned by a major Clinton backer and donor. It's a left wing mouthpiece.

Jeb and Marco might be the party's only hope. Several individuals, highlighted by NBC's Chuck Todd forecast that a state like Texas could very well go blue in 2016 because of the Hispanic vote. I know it sounds crazy but you get the wrong combo on the Republican side and it really isn't all that far-fetched.

Of course, Hispanics could just remember Hillary's better half sending in the feds to retrieve this kid back in the day and get pissed all over again.

I lol when I hear people predicting Texas will turn blue by 2016.

Romney (58%) actually INCREASED his margin from what McCain got (55%) in Texas. And neither candidate really did anything for the Hispanics. Get them to break more favorably for the R nominee and the state will break well over 60% for the Republicans. Bush got 61% in 2004 and did pretty well with Hispanic vote.

I know they are reacting to potential here with what they foresee as future voters in a specific area. And I imagine that it's still a best-case scenario even if.

Don't forget the D's thought that Wendy "Abortion Sneaker" Davis was going to make the 2014 Governor election close. She was a woman and was there to show Texans what the Republican war on women looks like!

She ended up getting not even 39% of the vote and lost the female vote to Abbott.

Personality Politics and perception are a bigger deal than most realize in General Elections. Ted Cruz for example so far comes across as a more threatening crazy Texas Republican nationally vs Rubio/Bush coming from diverse Miami. I don't buy that Todd forecast this soon but it is realistic in 8-12 years if the Republicans screw up their nominee
