Dillon Gabriel- 15/23 233 yards 2 TD's and 0 INT's also ran for 1 TD

Jaylon Robinson- 1 run for 5 yards and 1 reception for 8 yards.

Cam Goode- 2 tackles

T. Mokiao-Atimalala- 1 reception for 6 yards

Tatum Bethune- TBD

With the exception of Gabriel, no one really lit the world on fire yesterday. Good....I hope they all continue assuming their new minor roles at their respective teams.

I have nothing against the last three.

DG’s path to transfer was obviously iffy and I’m on the fence for Robinson. I don’t mind that he transferred, I just didn’t like using the spring game as an audition to do so.

But, in the end, they’re all still kids. I hope they learn something and grow as people even if I don’t always want them to see success on the football field.

I only watched like 5 minutes of Oklahoma so assuming this comparison doesn’t mention that he probably sat at some point in the 2nd half. it is interesting that it seems like here talk was he didn’t want to run but does it for Lebby

He ran a decent amount for us, I even remember him taking a hard hit to the noggin In The BSU game fighting for extra yards down the sideline.

The theme yesterday was showing how many schools across the nation had transfers that were starting key players.

This is going to be perpetual and likely someone everyone loves on the team now will likely hit the portal before their college career is done. Not much different than a coordinator or coach will end up leaving at some point.

DG thinks he's too good for UCF. Him saying he didn't want to run is just the reason he provided because it's not professional to say the former.

Out of all of them, Tatum is still the most puzzling for me. Coming off his best year, and guys seem to love T-Will. But then again here he his, playing on ABC prime time against LSU. Definitely has an opportunity to create real buzz should FSU actually do anything this year and he continue to perform well.

I didn’t see any stats for another QB. They definitely ran the ball a lot. Other than a 12 yard TD run, he didn’t run effectively against an inferior opponent

I think he followed Shannon

Biggest head scratcher is Robinson. He was a starter and now playing “big time” he’s down the depth chart

Maybe NIL opportunities and/or overestimation of his ability to change school and jump the depth chart were factors.

Is he closer to home now?

watching him in Garnet and Gold hurts . Our defense would be complete with him

and Jflash sucks too after he looked good in the Spring game

He played until a bit over 12 left in the 4th. But most of his stats came early before the game got out of hand.

7 tackles. 1 sack and 2 TFL. Ugh…, that hurts
I'm all for the portal if it means getting players who aren't making it at p5 schools. I'm not in favor of players using us as a stepping stone.

The hard part used to be deciding between a big name school where you might not play and a G5 school where you could play but most likely wouldn't get a lot of TV time.

Now players can have their cake and eat it. Start where you know you can be dominant, then upgrade to prime time when and if you can. I don't blame the players at all.

Moving to the b12 won't solve this. After Texas and Oklahoma leave, I fear we are back in the same boat. What does the TV contract look like after that? We joined the BCS Big East after all.

Not sure on TV contract, but rankings will be skewed for deep SEC and B10 which will lead to most primetime games involving those teams.

FSU/LSU game had a great atmosphere and both programs have been down. B12 doesn't have many programs that can match that if they are not highly ranked.

if you give UCF a neutral site Labor Day matchup vs an SEC opponent on Labor Day Yes we can match that

Danny White’s scheduling makes us seem in the overlooked background

Their coaches moved on from UCF too. DG is plying under the coach who recruited him out of HS. So is Bethune. It’s not as simple as saying we are a stepping stone.

You forgot a few.

Kaedin Robinson had 48 yards receiving for App State against UNC, including a TD grab late in the fourth quarter.

Eriq Gilyard had 4 tackles and an INT for Kansas.

And Randy Charlton had a couple tackles for Mississippi St against Memphis.

Howabout Credle from 2 years ago? I didn’t see any stats from him

Agree, don’t think Oklahoma is a stepping stone for USC. But coach and Qb did the same

How did Titus Mokiao-Atimalala
do? 1 rec for 6yds in a blow out so hes like 3rd string at UCLA
