How do we feel about this?

Absolutely. Is UCF spending upwards to $20M in NIL annually?

Like OSU, Penn State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, etc., a big chunk of it is spent on players already on the roster.
So Nebraska is on equivalent footing with Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan?? There's something that those have won multiples of that Nebraska hasn't in a very long time. It's like saying Vanderbilt is on equivalent footing with Georgia or Bama.

Heeeeelllloooo. Try following the conversation. This has zippedy-do-dah to do with wins, it has everything to do with how much NIL money programs are spending today.

I think not agreeing to it expedites their separating completely.
Agreed, B1G and SEC formed super conferences for a reason and it wasn't to limit their chances to be in Playoffs. The big TV networks and conferences are waiting for the other conference to reject and then they start down the path of separating.

The issue (once again) is money. My sense is that the B1G and SEC aren't trying shut out others, they're only protecting their own interests. The Big 2's Powers-that-Be are well aware that once annual player compensation comes down from the federal courts, the number of teams that will be able to financially compete at the highest level will dramatically decrease. The CFP will come down to who's still around to play? If I were a betting man, I'd say right now that the Big XII looks to be the only conference beyond the Big 2 with a legit chance of sticking around. Everybody else will likely still play, but at a lower competition level.

Wins and national championships don't equal more money? I know Nebraska has deep pockets but are they as deep as Georgia, Bama, Michigan, and Ohio State's?

I suspect we'll have another round of 'musical chairs' before this is all said and done. Not all of the current Big XII schools will be able to afford to stay while other schools, not currently in the B1G, SEC or Big XII, will have the financial means and political clout to still join one of the three.

Yes. That's what I meant when I answered your question about whether Nebraska is a "Big Dawg?" It's reported that Nebraska is one of the top 5 or 6 schools in CFB regarding NIL. The school's official collective, 1890, reportedly has spent in the neighborhood of 16-18 million dollars in NIL money this year. Ohio State reportedly spent the most at around $20 million.

over half the Big10 will always have more money than UCF and they will stay mediocre for the foreseeable future

UCF’s path back to relevancy will never be by having more money than others. It’s doing more w less with our location and hoping to find a core of players that love UCF and don’t transfer at the first sign of success.

While its wild west, it will be a challenge to keep players from transferring until it busts. It's kind of akin to Y2K/Dot Com boom, where even basic programming skills meant significant pay. Every player should be taking advantage, cause many will probably never make any where close to that much again unless they make the NFL.

Bingo! Hell, the days of Spring football games are heading towards extension too. Since lawlessness is now the norm, schools are saying, Why hold a Spring Game that's open to the public -- or worse yet, televised -- and allow schools across the country to see how good our young'uns are? The result is they get poached with NIL dollars over the summer.

UCF has a tradition of finding top-notch QBs and building explosive offenses around them. Trouble now is, if Frost finds another McKenzie Milton, other schools with deep pockets who are desperate for a QB are going to steal him away. Look at what happened with Darian Mensah at Tulane.
I mean, they could screen me for a spring game to make sure I wasn't a spy. I would also leave my cell phone in the car
I really enjoyed the spring games.

The Big Dawg programs decide which players they want to keep and the ones they can afford to have transfer away for more money. You wouldn't have seen a Dillon Gabriel-caliber talent transfer away from Ohio State or Georgia.
Quinn Ewers says hello. Oh and this guy named Burrow.

I don't think in either case they were planning to be the starter at that time, same with Justin Fields. They left because they weren't awarded the top spot, and of course in some cases that was a bad decision for the program. If Ohio State is 100% backing their starter, its going to take 8 figures to pry them away.

OSU paid Ewers to leave high school early and enroll there. If he would have stayed he would have had a shot. McCord left for Syracuse so he wasn’t good enough. Fields left UGA because of racism ( supppsedly anyway). Legitimate QBs have left the Blue Bloods for money as well. Not just every one else.
