This year did not matter. (You know I rarely post, I have been a memeber here since month 1, and read it religiously. I have been attending games since 1980 and rarely miss a home game.)
Every game and every year mattered so much. We had to get noticed. We had to win. We needed credibility. We needed that golden ticket. We did that… So, having secured that dream, I said this year doesn’t matter. So what if we finish with 4-5 losses. We do have a great program and great coach. Our future is so bright.
But I’m still heartbroken after the loss yesterday. It does matter. We all know the mistakes and the what if’s of yesterday. I agree we were outcoached. But put some blame on the defense. They let long chunks of the clock just go away. We need the ball more to win. Anyway, this pain will subside.
