Maybe he didn't want fired as head coach twice in 4 years on his resume?
If that is the way it played out, it shows he cares about UCF and wanted us to be successful.
At the minimum, his income at FSU will reduce the buyout amount.

This didn’t happen between the end of the game yesterday and today. This smells of Frost having backdoor communication for a couple of months before taking the Nebraska job.

No way he resigned and walked on 12M without some serious push on that ego. Terry might be a genius, messed up on the extension, but totally redeemed himself getting Gus to walk for free!!
