So, let's say UCF was never formed and let's assume you either did not go to college or went to a college that isn't D1 (like Rollins). If you could pick right now, who would you root for?
Can be anyone and for any reason. I'm looking forward to hearing some of the responses.
I would root for St. Johns for basketball because that's who I grew up rooting for while living in NYC. Funny thing is, I never even thought seriously about attending St. Johns for college. Didn't even apply in HS. I lived less than 20 minutes driving and about 45 minutes bus and train.
Anyway, I think for football I would root for USC. I'm a Jets fan, and I'm super impressed with Sam Darnold so far so maybe I would reverse root for the college he went to. Usually, I root for the teams UCF players play on in the NFL. I'll reverse that in this scenario. If I wanted to see any games, it would make for a great excuse to vacation in southern cali. Not too bad.
