Iowa State won the coin toss and elected to defer to the 2nd half...and then UCF's Offense went right down the field to take a 7-0 lead. I wonder if that drive might give Gus an idea that if UCF wins the coin toss this week, to put out offense out there first?
Of course many HC's like to defer...they like the chance to score late in 2nd Q and then get the ball to start the 3rd Q....but with UCF's Offense struggling early in past games...ISU selecting the 2nd half kickoff seemed to give our Offense a quick little boost.
