I sort of feel sorry for the guy. Wait. Hear me out. Since joining the ACC 25 years ago Miami has turned into a middle of the road kind of ACC team. They have yet to win a conference Championship. Their glory days in the 80s worked because they accepted anybody and took high risk kids. They built a culture of gangsta there . Their parties with blow and hookers were renowned. Since then dah U has gone downhill.
Mean while little ole UCF Division III start up just kept their head down and having one step in front of the other. We were a blue collar lunch pail team with no money but a lot of heart. We have grown and now we will get as much if not more TV money than dah U. Until we win the Big XII I will not write we have passed them. Once we win it, we cand write it.
So, you have this Miami fan who is really insecure about the rise of Knight Nation and as Gus once said, if you get the right guy in here you can win it all. Lobo is concerned because UCF is catching them we are a legitimate threat to recruiting and once we get back to winning , we are a threat for media eyeballs, media adulation and that means more recruits. I figured the guy thinks he is waging his own little guerrilla insurgency into enemy territory by being here.
I could care less about that program. Him being here is like a flea on a dog's butt. I will never seek out any Miami forum or post on it. I predict we will win the XII before they sniff at the ACC ship. What ever. I am with you though. The more he is ignored the more likely he leaves. I apologize because I have responded to the guy. I have been part of the problem. 2025 is a new year.
