Consider this a recruting thread.
Away game fan recruiting.

Yes life is busy and traveling can be hard. Heck just getting time off for some of us is hard. I get it being in the hospitality industy.
That said, traveling to an away game is worth the trip and can be fun for all involved especially if it's a game where the alumni association are putting on events.

The happy hour in Ft. Worth was awesome. They had a private band playing for us the whole event.
President of the University and the AD were in attendance hanging out with fans and mixing it up.
Networking with Knights from different parts of they country is fun as well.
Before you know it the happy hour event is over and you're in restaurants or bar hopping with Knight fans you've never met before and having a great time.

The tailgate the day of the game was great as well save for the swealtering weather.
Unlimited food and drink and again you're at tables just meeting new Knight family from all over the country.
There were single people, couples and whole families at this event. Once again President of the University and Terry were in attendance engaging with all of us.
Came away withe new friends and a great time.

People were coming up to us on the street talking about how many Knight fans they were seeing and wanted to know about what was going on.
Great look for our fan base.

Being in an opposing teams stadium all grouped up together is a great experience as well. We didn't get to enjoy much of that the first 3 quarters.
Once that comeback started however the UCF section was rocking and rest assured we were heard loud and clear by what TCU fans remained.
The TCU fans were all very nice but I can tell you this they don't know now how to get rowdy in that stadium. Night games at the Bounce House againsta Conference opponent is rocking. These folks were sleepwalking through the game even when they were dominating it.

Bottom line traveling to a game is a great time. It can be great if you're solo with friends, your significant other or even the full family.
Get out and go to one of our away games. No better way to represent our University then traveling, being seen and heard in all these other Big 12 cities
and stadiums!

Thanks to any UCF alumni or athletics staff in here for a great job on all the events in Ft. Worth!
