Initially, I didn't like the hire. It probably had something to do with how much I hated Nebraska in the 90's plus I hadn't eaten all day. Firmbizzle isn't himself when he's hungry. So after getting some food and sleep, then reading some article and tweets from recruits, I am excited about this hire. I had pretty much written off this year's recruiting class. With 2 months to go and 19 slots to fill, I didn't think it would be possible to find anybody good recruits. However, reading some of the quotes by recruits that already decommitted from us and want to recommit inspired me. These recruits are using the word "we" when talking about UCF. I am pretty confident that Coach Frost will be able to find 19 guys in the next 2 months that want to play some fun football. I am also excited that this is the first time this offense has been tried with an FBS Florida team. That could be a huge recruiting advantage to keep kids in state.

for the first time in forever all the Recruiting Analysts acknowledge UCF's existence, they've been waiting for this scheme to hit the South

Who wants to be the first to sign on in Frost's seach for "A Few Fast Men"?!!?!!?

It's just great having a HC that has shown more spirit, enthusiasm and energy in the last 24 hours than GOL has shown in the last 5 years. I want a coach who'll stir things up, show his emotions, get mad on the sideline, push each player to be his best, and look like he's goddamn ENJOYING his job! Enthusiasm is contagious; let's hope the players get "infected" soon!

Good to see you thinking straight again. I was getting worried.

It has hit the south at smaller programs and Auburn tried it but the attractive thing about UCF is that it is a top G5 job. Meaning that UCF should be favored and has more resources than most of the teams that they play. This isn't the case at lower level P5 jobs like Syracuse. Resource advantage is what you want. You get that at upper level P5 programs (Texas, ND, Florida, USC, etc.) and at upper level G5 programs (Houston, UCF, BYU, Cincinnati)
