Have a "play-in game" with the highest rated G5 and the #4 ranked P5. Winner gets the fourth seed in the P5 invitational tournament. The game can be played one week after Championship Saturday.

This way, the P5 can actually keep us out by beating us rather than just "analyzing" us, picking apart our schedule, reading our horoscopes, or whatever they do. If we win, we have a true shot at a National Championship.

If it were this year, we would play Alabama on Saturday. If we win, we play Clemson on NYD.

If a damn mediocre Wild Card Seattle can get in the NFL playoffs the Sunbelt Champion should be in the College playoffs, and the MWC, and C-USA and AAC etc. etc.

So if we lost our season would be over 9 days into December and we'd lose the extra month of practicing that comes along with a bowl game? That's the biggest part about being bowl eligible.
