Interesting High School BB game on Tues

If you get a chance, head over to Winter Park HS on Tues to watch the state playoff game between local schools....it'll be well coached HS basketball

Timber Creek at Winter Park....the coaches have multiple state championships between them and this has become a rivalry (they finished 1+2 in their district)....Winter Park won by 3 and 1 points in their 2 games this season....both won their 1st playoff game so they're matched up again...should be an old fashioned slug fest....

but I warn you there'll be a lot of good d and it'll be a very physical game....Winter Park is probably the most physical team in Central FL....and that includes UCF....Timber Creek normally scores a lot of points but not against WP....

but even more interesting it'll be a matchup between a couple of 6'7" kids who may be 2 of the best local players...a strong Wyatt Wilkes of WP (offers from UCF, FSU, Creighton, Auburn among others) and an athletic Trevor Recio (no major offers) of Timber Creek....last game, won by WP 47-44, Recio went for 16 pts and 16 rebs....

I see them at the mean courts of Waterford Lakes. I also play in Baldwin Park and in Thornton Park @ Howard Middle School. If you're going to play street ball then you need to test your game in other neighborhoods.
