I think it's time we admit that GOL starting DiNovo may have been the right call. I think this what was seen and I truly do believe that Pete may have been more consistent albeit with a weaker arm.

Yeah, Holman is just not a D-1 QB. Blown wide open passes to the dirt, bad decision making, passed when he should have ran. He did a few good things but overall poor. We can do much better! Hearing him speak in the post game show tells me a bit. For a senior to be like this, he just doesn't have the ability, mentally.

I (and Bianchi and UCF fans) say that we would have beat Penn St. if Holman had started. DiNovo's "weaker arm" was oh so embarrassing in that game. UCF still had great receivers then. Could we have shared the AAC title with DiNovo?

I'm not saying Pete is better. All I'm saying is that I understand why he started. Holman has shown nothing but inconsistencies. He has a big arm but is terribly inaccurate. I do believe he was probably very inconsistent in the practices before that game and that is why Pete got the start.

But I do believe we would have won if Justin started.
