Is Alex Jones a scumbag?

He's a professional troll ... like a number of Internet personalities.

Defamation is not trolling. It affected peoples lives who were also threatened with death threats. These people lost their children in a nightmare situation where they couldn’t even have helped them. He’s not a troll. He believes what he’s saying and is a piece of shit. Joe Rogan calling him a funny troll was a trash move. Jones actually believes what he’s spewing. He throws fits over it. He marches. He’s not like Andy Kaufman. Freedom of speech does not prevent civil consequences ever. Defamation suits are there just for that reason.

He is piece of shit, but I don't think he actually believes most of what he says. There is a market for conspiracy theorists and he figured that out a long time ago and has ran with it.

There’s validity to that too. I think it stemmed from somewhere first, though. But yeah, there is a reason why he saw QAnon as competition. Q stole a lot of his thunder and crowd.
